Hi, my name is Rebecca Malley Fitzgerald, LCPC

A Biller, Intake Coordinator, Practice Owner and Therapist

Rebecca Malley Fitzgerald, LCPC

Rebecca has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, having worked in a variety of settings including residential facilities, hospital behavioral health inpatient units, community mental health centers, and private practice. Through her experiences, Rebecca has honed in on what really matters to her: making high quality mental health care accessible to people who might not otherwise get this opportunity. By accepting insurance, choosing to work in or near underserved communities, and choosing to hire diverse staff, Rebecca remains committed to making high quality, effective treatment accessible to individuals who normally might slip through the cracks.

Rebecca enjoys using Evidence Based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), while tailoring these types of treatments to meet the needs of each individual client. This type of case conceptualization is also the approach used for supervision of staff members. Rebecca works well with individuals who are seeking help to heal from complex trauma histories, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain. She does not work with adolescents, children, or provide family or couple’s counseling.

A few years ago, Rebecca chose to expand from a solo practice to a small group practice due to recognizing that the needs of the community are more than she could meet on her own. She hires staff carefully based on their clinical skills, relatability, respect for clients, and passion for providing quality services. Rebecca is very proud of her small team and remains heavily invested in ensuring their success.
